How to create smart internal links with 1 click?

Internal links are hyperlinks that connect one page of your website to another. They help guide users through your website, improve navigation, and distribute link equity (SEO value) across your site. Internal links are critical for on-page optimization as they help search engines understand the structure of your website and improve crawling efficiency.

Improved Navigation: Internal links make it easier for visitors to explore your website and find relevant content.
Better SEO: They distribute link equity across pages, improving rankings for important pages.
Increased Engagement: By directing users to related content, internal links help reduce bounce rates and increase time spent on your site.

Step 1: Navigate to the Optimize Tab

From your dashboard, click on the “Optimize” tab in the left-hand menu.
Locate the Page SEO Optimization section for the webpage you want to optimize.

Scroll to the middle of the page and click on the Internal Links tab under the Page SEO Optimization tools.
This will take you to the section where smart internal link suggestions are generated.

Click on the “Auto Suggest Smart Internal Links” button.
ClickRank’s AI will analyze your site's content and structure to suggest relevant and engaging internal links.

Step 4: Review and Apply Suggestions

Review the generated internal link suggestions.
These suggestions are designed to connect pages with related topics to enhance user experience and SEO.
If satisfied, click Apply to implement them.

Step 5: Optimize Based on Queries

To fully optimize your internal links, select relevant queries from the Queries section on the right side of the page.
Queries reflect the keywords your page ranks for, and aligning your internal links with these keywords ensures maximum SEO benefits.

Step 6: Save Changes

Once the links are applied, click Save to store the changes.
Your internal links are now optimized to improve navigation, engagement, and SEO.

Focus on Relevance: Only link to pages that are genuinely related to the content.
Use Descriptive Anchor Text: Ensure the clickable text for each link clearly describes the target page.
Avoid Over-linking: Keep the number of internal links reasonable to avoid overwhelming users and diluting link equity.
