### Step 1: Access Google Search Console
1. Go to [Google Search Console](https://search.google.com/search-console/).
2. Sign in with your Google account.
---

### Step 2: Add a New Property
1. Once logged in, click the **“Add Property”** button in the dropdown menu at the top left corner.
2. A pop-up window will appear prompting you to choose a property type.
---

### Step 3: Select the Property Type
You will see two options:
1. **Domain Property**:
   - Includes all subdomains and protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS).
   - Requires DNS verification.
   - Recommended for full domain management.
2. **URL Prefix Property**:
   - Covers only the exact URL entered (e.g., https://www.example.com).
   - Allows multiple verification methods.
   - Suitable for more specific tracking.

Choose the one that fits your needs and click **Continue**.
---

### Step 4: Verify Ownership
1. After selecting the property type, you'll be asked to verify ownership.
2. Choose one of the following methods:
   - **HTML File**: Download an HTML file and upload it to your website's root directory.
   - **HTML Tag**: Copy and paste a meta tag into the `<head>` section of your website.
   - **Google Analytics**: Use your existing Google Analytics account.
   - **Google Tag Manager**: Use your Tag Manager account for verification.
   - **Domain Name Provider**: Add a DNS TXT record to your domain's DNS settings.

Follow the on-screen instructions for your selected method and click **Verify**.
---

### Step 5: Confirmation
Once verified, Google will confirm that the property has been added successfully. You can now access performance reports and insights for your website.
---

### Additional Tips:
- For comprehensive tracking, **Domain Property** is preferred, but it may require technical steps.
- If you face issues during verification, check your implementation and retry.
